Yoga and Practical results

note: findings these exercises works well when---

  • empty stomach
  • activation of navel center ie.. after running.

lunar center (soma) cold center is at head chakra and solar center , fire and hot is at navel chakra..
cure for sinus-- our body produces mucus against the allergies and infection, it gets thicker and accumulates in our sinus causing severe headaches,------- do uchai kriya..
principle is to increase local temp in chest and brain..pull up breath from throat cusing great friction and sound and hence inc heat now while releasing block right nostril (solar) and release from left..
within seconds all the bad mucus on your throat will be extracted out of the mouth.

practical-- vomit like feeling afterwards.. note min eating gap should be more than 3 hours..

Bhastrika Kriya:-- activates the navel solar center that provide immense power and confidence... uses breath like a hacksaw to cut.. or like a blacksmith's blower..cuts down all the hurdles, maximizing oxygen in the body.. just like giving a leaner air fuel ratio to increase power. it involves fast inhaling and exhaling of breath.

practical-- did today after 8 round (400 m) ... for 3 min ,, breath odour changed ... burning of mucus like smell..emense power,, bluring of image...nausea kkind in head,..sensations at the face.

20/04/14
after 8 rounds did today..sinuses were fully aired ,, mucus was becoming dry and thick.. high energy and purity felt. with vibrations on face..

switched to kapalbhati automatically after 3 mins.

FOOD

A person who practices Hatha
Yoga without moderating the diet
falls prey to various diseases. The
Yogi should eat rice, barley,
beans, nuts, fruit, and other
wholesome things. Pure, sweet,
and cooling foods should be eaten
to half fill the stomach. This is
called moderation in diet.

water
Fresh water is necessary to the well-being of
the body. Most water is fluorinated, chlorinated,
and contaminated from its passage
through miles of metal pipe. Therefore, if
you live in a city, it's well worth spending
the money to purchase fresh spring or mineral
water in bottles. On the average, we require
about seven glasses of liquid a day. Fresh
water is the most purifying and invigorating
of all drinks. Taken first thing in the morning,
its capacity to tone up the organs and
senses has earned it the title of "nectar" in
the Tantric tradition.
Rainwater is especially purifying and ancient
Yogic teachings declare that the season
of its collection changes the quality of the
water and its therapeutic effect. Mineral water
with high calcium or silica content is particularly
suitable for the table, as is the naturally
sparkling water from health springs. Avoid
drinking large amounts of water near or during
mealtimes. Doing so dilutes the digestive
juices, and thus impairs the digestion of food.
Drink only enough to purify your taste buds
during the meal. Generally it is not advisable
to drink water late at night, or water that is
excessively cold. For digestive problems, a glass
of warm water works wonders.
For all the six primary tastes,
water is the common source; water
and the sense of taste are intimately
connected.

crowbeak breathing technique:-
it is the master technique for controling the heat transfer of our body. It is the one of the most efficient example of applied yoga. in this technique, the tongue is rolled and pressed between the teeth like crows beak and air is inhaled thru the small passage made by the beak . the incoming air gives its enthalpy to the wet saliva on the tongue hence vapourises it inturn making the air colder , this cool air is inhaled slowly making the stomach and lower abdomen pot shaped , retain for some time then exhale thru nostrils slowly.
it effect can be seen after rigorous exercises and in summers.

Fatigue:--
you may not be familiar with fatigue loading and its power but engg. students do know its significance , it is the most powerful loading method that destroys the material from its molecular level. e.g a flexible blade is to be broken , it cant be broken by highly sophisticated machines or can be easily broken by hand just applying 3-4 reverse loadings , and its done. in Sankrit such concept is samundra manthan it was just like making buttermilk , applying fatugue loading of force in ocean , and result was that it gave many vital things out of ocean.
this great concept can be applied to breathing techniques also.inhale to the point that oxygen reaches our brain and exhale to that point when it retreats from brain till stomach completely empty .. this fatigue loading of breath on brain ,see what it uncovers for you.
